INE survey reveals enterprises and IT

According to new data released by National Statistics Institute (INE), 92.7 percent of small businesses (ie those between 10 to 49 employees) have Internet access and 95.3% use computers.

With regard to medium-sized enterprises (between 50 and 249 employees), 99% of employees say they have access to the largest network and computer use.

For large companies (organizations with 250 or more employees) and the study reveals that all have access to Internet and computer use.

The data collected by Statistics also show that only 47.3% of small companies have an official site, rising to 94% for large companies.

The figures presented here are on a study already conducted this year in which the NSA analyzes the use of Information Technology (IT) by businesses luso.
